Our leadership team brings invaluable experience and expertise to the company, each person holding a unique skill set to bring balance to our diverse team.
As Vice President of Operations, Karla provides Allegis with expert knowledge of the transcription business and the P&C insurance industry. She has been with the company for over 22 years. Karla has an extensive background in business operations previously holding the positions of Operations Manager, Director of Operations, General Manager, and her current role as VP of Operations.
As a subject matter expert, Karla has developed management strategies and tools particular to the field of transcription that have led to business success. In addition to standards of efficiency and quality, her success also includes the ‘customer-first’ culture at Allegis and her proven skill of building lasting customer relationships and win-win contract negotiations.

Information Technology Operations
Mark oversees Allegis’ information technology operations and is responsible for managing the company IT systems on an ongoing basis. Over the more than 18 years he’s worked with Allegis, he virtualized the company’s IT infrastructure and implemented the security protocols, which meet or exceed industry standards. On an on-going basis he also updates and implements business continuity changes and manages company IT projects.
Mark is the founder and president of Teal Group Technologies, LLC. His company provides information technology management services to small and medium sized companies. Mark has over 20 years of experience in IT infrastructure and his areas of expertise include project management, technical consulting, and managing IT departments.
As Allegis’ VP of Talent, Alexis is responsible for curating Allegis’ transcription teams and assuring that the processes and standards for their management maintain our place as industry leaders in customer service, reliability and quality. She brings 20 years of organizational development experience across diverse businesses to Allegis. Beginning in Human Resource management within the high-tech industry, Alexis was responsible for recruiting and hiring start-up work forces, and successfully building unique and lasting cultures of excellence. Upon her move to direct-to-customer businesses, she added Customer Service Management to her leadership profile.
Alexis is also a contributing member of the business strategy team, working with senior management and the Board of Directors to further Allegis’ strategic directives. Prior to Allegis, Alexis was the five-year term Vice President of Products & Services for Full Circle Inc.
As Allegis Production Director, Debbie manages the systems and individuals responsible for the company’s high levels of quality and production. She has been with Allegis for 22 years, first as a lead transcriptionist, and for the past 12 years in operations. Debbie’s training as a court reporter, her strong command of the English language, and her expertise in P&C transcription production make her a valuable asset to our management team.
Debbie oversees the work of our team members that coordinate workflow and provide quality assurance. She ensures our more than 375 transcriptionists consistently meet or exceed our high production and quality standards. Debbie has been integral to the front- and back-end development and evolution of our Work Management Software, and is responsible for its effective use and integration into our workforce.

As Customer Service Manager, David is the primary liaison for Allegis customers, working to ensure their requirements are met and expectations exceeded, beginning with initial account set-up to daily processing needs. He has been with Allegis since 2006 and in that time has developed an in-depth understanding of the property and casualty industry and also brings the customer service perspective thorough hands-on experience within Allegis operations. These talents make David an expert at anticipating and understanding the needs of our customers.
David came to Allegis with numerous years of customer experience in the audio visual arena and built upon this by acquiring extensive knowledge of computer technology. His ability to understand technology and efficiently translate problems into clear solutions delivers skilled technical assistance for customers. Additionally, David provides desktop support for employees and supervises the Allegis network. As Customer Service Manager, he oversees submission of files through multiple protocols and tracks order processing within our proprietary system to ensure our transcripts are returned on time. David is also responsible for managing service processes and standards established to provide Allegis customers with the highest level of fast and friendly service.
